Marcia E. Miles, Director, Bible Discovery Hour
 
Marcia Elaine Moore was birthed at St. Mary's Hospital, St. Louis, MO to the proudest 
parents, Willie Ed and Vivian Sarah Moore. She is the oldest of three children born to 
this union. 

She grew up in East St. Louis, IL, attended Nursery through High School and Lincoln 
University, Jefferson City, MO. She held permanent status employment with the Federal, 
County and City governments and the Y.M.C.A. in various job capacities. Later, after
relocating to Los Angeles, CA, she was conferred the Degree of Bachelor of Science 
in Business Administration, California State University, Los Angeles and the Degree of 
Master of Science Administration, California State University, Dominguez Hills. Ms. Moore was 
employed with USC School of Medicine in medical research. After seven years she was 
employed with the City of Los Angeles, received several certificates of commendation 
for exceptional job performance and dedication, where she retired in Administration. 

Having married Tommy Miles, Jr. they relocated to Henderson, NV in July, 1993 and 
united with Community Baptist Church where the Reverend Sam Roberson, Sr. is pastor. 
A life remembered and loved, Tommy went home to the Lord April 14, 2014. 

At Community she serve as a Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess, Operation 500 
Coordinator, National Certified Dean, and Christian Education Director. She is continuing 
her biblical studies through the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., Congress of 
Christian Education and have completed the Certificate of Progress Program (COPP), 
Special Projects-Deans and Presidents, Dr. William J. Shaw Master Teachers' Series, 
Specialization Education Studies Program, and in progress the Superintendents' Clinic.

She firmly believes Christian Education is a life line for any believer to pursue for an abundant 
life. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things 
shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean 
not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct 
thy paths (Proverbs 3:5, 6).
